A louvre is a blind or shutter with horizontal slats that are angled to admit light and air, but to keep out rain, direct sunshine, and noise. The angle of the slats may be adjustable, or fixed. A louvred door is a door having louvers in place of a solid panel, in part or all of the surface of the door.
